Create Product - POD Partner

This tutorial shows you how to build the product at www.podpartner.com

Go to POD Partner and sign in using the Ceez & Ray Gmail account.
Once on dashboard, Select All Products from the bottom left menu.
Browse the available categories, including men's and women's apparel, then choose the product you'd like to create. Click Start Designing.
Click and choosed the placement on the top (Front, Back, Left Sleeve, Right Sleeve, Inside Neck) ,
Click the + inside the blue print area in the design area.
Choose one of the existing graphics or select Upload Now to upload a new design from your computer.
Resize and position the artwork until you're happy with the layout. Keep the artwork inside the dotted print boundary to prevent it from being cut off during production.
You can also: Resize the artwork, rotate it, center it automatically, flip it horizontally or vertically.
(Mandatory) Add the Inside Tag whenever possible, add the BPF logo to the inside neck tag. This gives the product a more professional branded appearance. Important: Always use a transparent PNG without a colored background.
(Optional) To add another design, choose a different print location and add additional graphics. Each additional print location will increase the production cost.
Double check the print method (at top) is set to: Direct-to-Garment (DTG). Only choose HTV or Embroidery if specifically requested to.
Click Save to store the product as a template inside POD Partner. At this point, the product exists in POD Partner only and has not been added to the Shopify store yet.

Tip:

Always review every size, color, image, price, and collection after syncing. POD Partner may create default information that still needs to be edited in Shopify.

Publish Product to Shopify

After creating product, this tutorial will show you how to publish it to the website.

Once your product has been created in POD Partner, click Add to Store.
Select your connected Shopify store from the available store connections.
Choose the product colors you would like to sell. If a color doesn't display the artwork well, simply uncheck it. For example, if the design is difficult to see on a darker garment, it's perfectly fine to leave that color out.
Leave all available sizes selected unless you've been instructed to remove a specific size.
Click Save, then click Proceed to Details.
Choose the product mockup you want to be the primary product image. This will be the first image customers see when browsing your website.
Under the primary image, review the image variations for each product color. Click Replace if you'd like to choose a different mockup, such as a front view, back view, flat lay, or hanging display. You may also upload your own custom mockup if needed. (Model photos are available, but your artwork will not appear on those images.)
Enter a clear, descriptive Product Title that matches the artwork and style of the product.
Update the Product Description. POD Partner already provides the technical product details. For the best results, copy the description into ChatGPT and have it rewrite the introduction to match your brand while keeping the technical specifications below.
Select the appropriate Collection for the product (tops, bottoms, hats, accessories). Do not assign the product to any other collections inside POD Partner. Those specialized collections are managed later inside Shopify.
Leave the default Tags exactly as they are. We'll organize and update them later inside Shopify where they're much easier to manage.
Under Shipping Profile, select General Profile to apply the correct shipping settings.
If you've been instructed to add premium branding, you may enable Custom Hang Tags or Branded Packaging. Important: These options increase the production cost, so always receive approval before enabling them.
Set your Retail Pricing. Remember, the Retail Price is the price your customers will see on your Shopify store using one of the available pricing methods: Add a fixed profit amount, set one retail price for every size, increase pricing by a percentage, or edit each size individually if necessary.
Once you've confirmed your pricing, click Submit to publish the product to Shopify. Allow approximately 30–60 seconds for POD Partner to finish syncing the product.
IMPORTANT: As soon as the product says Synced, immediately log in to Shopify.
Click Products, locate the new product, select its checkbox, and click Set as Draft. This prevents customers from seeing the product before we've finished editing it.

Edit Product Image

This is how to remove the background from the main image.

Go to Photopea.com
Once the website loads, click Open and select the product image you want to edit.
Look at the toolbar on the left side of the screen and click the Magic Wand Tool. It looks like a small wand with sparkles.
Look at the top menu bar, and find the setting called Tolerance.Set Tolerance to around 35-40.
Note: For white clothing or products with light colors, lower the tolerance to around 5–10. This lower tolerance helps avoid accidentally selecting parts of the product.
Move your cursor over the white background surrounding your product. Click once on the background area.
Observe the appearance of moving dotted lines.These dotted lines should appear around the outside edge of the image.
Then press the Delete key on your keyboard. The white background will disappear.and you should now see a gray-and-white checkerboard pattern behind your product, meaning the background is now transparent.
Go to the top-left corner of Photopea and Click File.
Select Export As, then PNG
Rename the file so it matches your product name.
Confirm the file format displayed says PNG.Important: Do not save as JPEG because JPEG files do not support transparent backgrounds.
Click Save.

Tip:

If you ever have trouble removing the background in Photopea, you can upload the image into ChatGPT and simply ask it to remove the background for you. Both methods work, so use whichever one is easiest for you.

Create Product Mockup

This is how you create a lifestyle mockup in ChatGPT.

Open ChatGPT
Paste the provided mockup prompt into the chat, ensuring it specifies details like product color, fit, graphics, model, background, and style, and explicitly states not to include graffiti, signs, or background text.
Upload the transparent PNG image you previously created.
Click Send to generate the mockup.
Note: If you need changes just tell Chatgpt what you would like to change.
Once the mockup is generated, click the Download arrow in the bottom-right corner of the image and save it to your computer.

Tip:

Here is a prompt you can use. Customize as you want.

Prompt Template: Create a premium square lifestyle mockup using the attached [PRODUCT] exactly as provided. Do not alter the product's color, fit, wash, material, texture, print placement, embroidery, or graphics in any way. Feature a [MODEL DESCRIPTION] wearing the product naturally. Photograph the model at [LOCATION] with a [BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION]. Remove all unwanted distractions including graffiti, signs, advertisements, background text, watermarks, and clutter unless specifically requested otherwise. Capture a professional luxury fashion photoshoot with [LIGHTING STYLE], shallow depth of field, realistic shadows, and a high-end editorial look. Frame the model [CROP/FRAMING], ensuring the entire product and all visible graphics are fully shown, perfectly centered, unobstructed, and in sharp focus. The [PRODUCT] should remain the clear focal point while maintaining a premium [STYLE/AESTHETIC] aesthetic. Produce an ultra-realistic, commercial-quality, square (1:1) image with natural skin tones, accurate fabric texture, realistic proportions, crisp detail, and a polished luxury fashion advertising appearance.

Finalize Product Setup

This is the last step to finalizing the product and making it go live.

Go to Shopify and navigate to Products, then open the product you're working on.
In the Media section, click the + button.
Select Add Media and choose the transparent PNG image from your device.
Note: Your newly uploaded image will always appear at the end of the image list. If you see something like "+6", click it to expand all of the images. The last image will be the one you just uploaded.
Click and drag the transparent image into the first position to make it your main product image.
Delete the image you just replaced by selecting its checkbox and clicking Remove.
Click the + button again in the Media section.
Select Add Media and upload your lifestyle mockup image.
Once the upload is complete, drag the mockup image into the second position.
Click Save at the top of the page.
Click Preview to verify that the transparent product image appears first and the lifestyle mockup appears second.
If everything looks correct, return to the product editing page.
Change the product status from Draft to Active.
Click Save again.
To verify everything is working correctly, go to your online store and open the appropriate collection, such as Tops.
Find your new product. The main image should have a transparent background.
Hover your mouse over the product. It should switch to the lifestyle mockup.
If everything looks correct, your product is now live and set up properly.

How to Create AI Music

This will show you how to make lyrics on ChatGPT and generate music on Suno.

Start by opening ChatGPT.
Ask ChatGPT to create lyrics for your song. Be descriptive about the type of music, the theme, the mood, and any important details you want included. If you're creating music for Season Ray, make sure any references relate to Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Also ask ChatGPT to provide a style description for Suno along with the lyrics. You'll use both of these in the next step.
Copy the lyrics and the style description.
Open Suno.com and sign in.
Click Create from the left menu.
At the top of the page, switch from Simple to Advanced. Advanced mode allows you to paste your own lyrics.
Paste the lyrics into the Lyrics section.
Paste the style description into the Style field.
If any pop-up tips appear, simply close them.
Open More Options.
Since you're using your own lyrics, make sure the song is set to use your custom lyrics instead of having Suno generate them automatically.
Choose a voice gender if you'd like. We typically use Male, but you can choose whichever fits your project.
You can also adjust settings like Weirdness and Style Influence, but the default settings usually work well.
If you'd like, give your song a title.
Click Create.
Wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute while Suno generates your music. You'll usually receive two to four versions of the song.
Listen to each version and choose the one you like best.
Click the song title to open its details page.
On this page, you can review the lyrics, replay the song, and access additional options.
Click the three dots to open the menu.
To download your song, select Download, then choose MP3.
You can also use options like Remix or Cover if you'd like to make changes while keeping the overall feel of the song.
Suno provides free daily credits, making it easy to experiment and learn the platform.
If you're creating music for Season Ray, always create those songs while logged into the Season Ray Suno account. This keeps all project music organized in one place. Feel free to practice on your own account with personal projects to become familiar with the different features and settings.

How to Add Music

We will teach you how to add new music to the website.

From your Shopify dashboard, click Online Store.
Click Customize to open the Theme Editor.
Scroll down the left sidebar and click Music Player.
Adjust the player width if needed. We recommend keeping it between 270 and 300 pixels.
Adjust the distance from the bottom if needed. We recommend keeping it around 70 pixels.
To reorder songs, click and drag a song into the position you want.
Click Save after changing the song order.
To add a new song, click Add Song.
Enter the song title. This is the name visitors will see in the music player.
Adjust the song volume if needed so it matches the other songs.
Open a new browser tab and return to your Shopify dashboard.
Click Content on the left side.
Click Files.
Click Upload Files.
Select the MP3 file from your device and wait for it to finish uploading.
Find the uploaded song and click Copy Link on the right side.
Return to the Theme Editor tab.
Paste the copied link into the MP3 URL field.
When Shopify shows a small suggestion below the field, click it so the link is added correctly.
Click Save.
Your new song will now appear in the website music player.

Create a Page

How to create a page in shopify and add it to navigation.

From your Shopify dashboard, click Online Store, then select Pages.
Click Add Page in the top-right corner.
Enter a title for your page. This title is what visitors will see if you add the page to your website's navigation.
Add your page content in the content editor. You can type it manually or paste in existing content.
Under Visibility, make sure the page is set to Visible so it can be accessed on your website.
Under Template, leave the page set to Default Page unless you have a different template you want to use.
Click Save to create the page.
If you'd like to preview the page, click View at the top of the screen.
To add the page to your website's navigation, go to Content, then Menus.
Select the Footer Menu or whichever menu you'd like to update.
Click Add Menu Item.
Enter the page name in the Label field, then click the Link field.
Select Pages, choose the page you just created, and click the check mark to confirm the selection.
Click Save to update the menu.
Return to your website and refresh the page. You'll now see your new page listed in the footer navigation, and visitors will be able to access it from your website.

Edit Pages & Templates

How to edit pages & page templates

From the Shopify dashboard, click Online Store, then Pages.
Select the regular page you want to edit.
Edit the text using the formatting tools for bold text, italics, underlining, colors, headings, and alignment.
To add a link, highlight the text, click the link icon, and enter the full URL.
Choose whether the link should open in the same window or a new window.
Use the editor to insert images, videos, or tables when needed.
Resize or reposition an image by clicking it and dragging its handles.
Use Shopify’s AI writing tool if you need help editing or creating content.
Click the HTML editor icon to view the page code, then click it again to return to the standard editor.
Click Save, then click View to review the page.
To edit a template, return to Online Store and open the Theme Editor.
Select a section on the left to edit its text, images, videos, colors, alignment, overlays, or spacing.
Use optional sections such as product highlights or spacers when needed.
Use the page selector at the top to choose a different page template, such as About, Contact, or Episodes.
Click Save, then review the finished page on the website.

Add/Edit Navigation

Learn how to add items and edit the header / footer navigations.

Open your Shopify Theme Editor by clicking Online Store, then Customize.
Click Header to edit the navigation menu at the top of your website.
Click Edit to open the assigned menu in Shopify.
To add a new navigation item, click Add Menu Item, enter the label, choose the appropriate link, and click the check mark to save it.
For links like About Us, Media, and Contact, choose Pages and select the correct page.
For the Home link, choose Homepage. For the Shop link, choose Products, then All Products.
To reorder the navigation, click and drag the dots next to each menu item into the desired order, then click Save.
You can also access all navigation menus directly from the Shopify admin by going to Content → Menus.
Return to the Theme Editor and scroll down to Footer.
Under Footer Navigation Menu, click Replace if you need to assign a different menu, then select Footer Menu.
Click Edit to open the Footer Menu. Remove unwanted items, add new menu items, assign the correct links, and click the check mark after each one.
Click Save, then return to the Theme Editor to verify that both the header and footer navigation display correctly on your website.

Add / Edit Media Clips

Replace video links, thumbnails, titles, and duration text.

From the Shopify dashboard, click Content, then Files.
Click Upload Files and select an MP4 video from your device.
Wait for the video to finish uploading.
Find the uploaded video and click Copy Link.
Go to Online Store, then open the Theme Editor.
Scroll to the Media Clips section on the homepage.
Open the Media Clips blocks from the panel on the left.
Hide a video with the eye icon, or drag the blocks to reorder them.
Click Add Video Clip.
Paste an MP4 link or standard YouTube link into the video URL field.
Add the duration, then add an optional video title.
Leave the cover image blank to use the automatic YouTube thumbnail or MP4 opening frame.
To use a custom cover, click Select Image, upload the image, and click Done.
Click Save.
To edit the Media page, use the page selector at the top and choose Pages, then Episodes.
Add or reorder the video blocks on the Episodes template.
Use MP4 or regular YouTube links for the main video sections.
Use MP4 or YouTube Shorts links for the promotional Video Gallery.
Add an optional product link when a video should connect to a product.
Click Save and review the finished page.

Password Page / Maintenance

How to edit the password / maitenance page

From the Shopify dashboard, click Online Store.
Open the Theme Editor by clicking Customize or Edit Theme.
Click the page selector at the top where it says Homepage.
Scroll down and select Password.
Edit the eyebrow text, main heading, description, and button text.
Use maintenance wording such as Be Right Back if the website is temporarily unavailable.
Add a message explaining that the website is under maintenance.
Invite visitors to join the email list for updates.
Change the button text to Sign Up, Notify Me, or another suitable label.
Add a return date or time if needed.
Click Save.
Return to the Shopify dashboard and open Online Store.
Set the storefront to Password Protected to display the password page.
Set the storefront to Public to display the full website.
Update the storefront password if approved visitors or staff need access.
